My name is Chrystel, and I’m a bench jeweler and the founder of Luyendyk Jewelry. I’ve been making jewelry since 2020. Through my brand, I design and create fine jewelry, piercing pieces, and memorial jewelry.
From Mind to Metal
After studying Psychology and spending a few years in an office job, I realized how much I missed creating with my hands. That curiosity led me to explore different crafts, eventually guiding me to goldsmithing, and I haven’t looked back since.
Jewelry Journey
My journey as a jeweler began with creating piercing pieces under the name Goldsome Studios. After taking a short break, I shifted my focus and began crafting memorial jewelry as well. Memorial jewelry holds deep emotions and personal stories. Creating piercing and fine jewelry, on the other hand, allows me to explore my more playful and artistic side, a space where I a space where I can take a break from the deeply meaningful and experiment with fresh ideas and bold designs. Balancing these two worlds keeps my work inspiring, dynamic, and deeply fulfilling.
HANDMADE IN MY OWN STUDIO
I run a one-woman show: designing, 3D modeling, and hand-finishing fine jewelry and memorial pieces. For my memorial jewelry, I work with materials such as ashes, hair, fur, teeth and breast milk. My favorite projects are the custom pieces I create together with my clients, truly one-of-a-kind designs.
